Description: The course will cover fundamentals and state-of-the-art methods in the emerging field of joint sensing and communications, in which the spectrum is used to simultaneously sense the environment and communicate data. Recommended Prerequisite(s): Knowledge of wireless communications, probability, statistical signal processing and preferably introductory machine learning. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for ELEC 536 if student has credit for ELEC 433. Repeatable for Credit.
