Description: Science is viewed as objective, but our perceptions of science are shaped by the language we use to describe it. This course explores the rhetoric of science communication, examining the challenges of simplifying complex ideas for broad audiences. Using audience-centered design, students will practice communicating scientific ideas across diverse genres.
