Description: This course explores the philosophy behind neuroscience, introducing students to general concepts in the philosophy of science and looking at key puzzles specific to neuroscience. Is the mind observable? How should we think about fMRI images and what they can tell us? What makes mental disorders so hard to study? And what can future neuroscientists do to overcome current challenges?
