Description: This course explores fundamental biological mechanisms underlying human disease, from molecular and cellular dysfunction to tissue- and organ-level pathology. Students learn how genetic, environmental, and infectious factors interact to cause disease, with emphasis on molecular signaling, immune regulation, and systems-level consequences. While quantitative perspectives are welcome, the focus is on biological understanding and interpretation of disease processes. Recommended Prerequisite(s): Anatomy and Physiology, Cell Biology
