Description: Throughout the centuries, revivals of classical art and architecture have often accompanied cultural transformations prompted by both progressive and conservative intellectual or political movements. In this course students will learn different ways to view and interpret neoclassical art and architecture in today’s modern era to determine the context and purpose for using classical imagery. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for FWIS 173 if student has credit for FSEM 159/HIST 159.
