Description: Scientific programming using high level languages, including C, Fortran, and C++. Emphasis on use of numerical libraries. Basic techniques of project planning, source management, documentation, program construction, i/o, visualization. Object-oriented design for numerical computing. Grading and assignments would be different between the 400/500 level. Cross-list: CMOR 420. Recommended Prerequisite(s): (CAAM 210 or CMOR 220 and CAAM 335 or CMOR 302) or (CAAM 453 or CMOR 422)
