Description: The goal of this seminar course is to teach students to critically review and assess new developments in global health technologies and to engage with leaders in the field. The course will include seminars presented by leaders in global public health and development as well as class discussions to critically review and discuss works from the speakers and the organizations they represent. Students will be tasked with formulating connections between their home department of study and global health technology and equity concepts. GLHT 595 will allow students to engage with global health technology leaders, be exposed to the depth and breadth of the field and ideate on how to incorporate global health principles into their work. The course will be offered in the Fall and Spring semesters and may be repeated for credit. Repeatable for Credit.
