Description: Planetary Systems: Orbits, Atmospheres, Interiors, and Minor Bodies is an interdisciplinary course that focuses on post-formation processes — such as orbital resonances, chaos theory, tidal interactions, planetary atmospheres, internal compositions, and minor bodies like asteroids and comets. It provides a broader perspective on planetary system evolution, complementing a planetary formation course by extending the study beyond initial formation. By integrating observational data, comparative planetology, and planetary physics, this course bridges orbital mechanics, atmospheric science, and planetary geophysics across both the solar system and exoplanets. Cross-list: EEPS 674. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for EEPS 474 if student has credit for EEPS 674.
