Description: For graduate students entering the graduate program with a fellowship, a lab rotation program is offered in which they have the opportunity to survey multiple research labs before formally choosing a PI. This course is broken into two parts. The first part is focused on advising the students about the transition to graduate school, how to approach research problems, good research habits, professional development, and other advising. The second part of the course is a focused review of topics germane to their chosen PI’s research area.
