Description: This course explores key works of poetry, fiction, drama, non-fiction prose, and theory that voice the aspirations and struggle of colonized people from Africa, the Indian subcontinent and the Caribbean. The course covers both the anti-colonial period and the challenges faced by new nation-states after they gained political independence.
