Description: Course will cover fundamentals of probability and statistics with emphasis on application t biomedical problems and experimental design. Recommended for students pursuing careers in medicine or biotechnology. BIOE 439 and BIOE 440/STAT 440 cannot both be taken for credit. Prerequisite BIOE 252 may be taken concurrently. Cross-list: BIOE 539. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for BIOE 439 if student has credit for BIOE 440/BIOE 539/STAT 440.
