Description: Biochemistry and Chemical Biology explores the chemical and molecular mechanisms that underlie biological processes from a molecular perspective. The course covers the chemistry, structure and function of biomolecules, enzymatic catalysis, metabolic pathways, and the regulation of biochemical processes. Students will gain an understanding of how chemical principles apply to biological systems and receive a foundation for further studies in chemical biology.
