Description: Advanced topics in materials mechanics, including elasticity, plasticity, and brittle and ductile fracture mechanics. A major focus of this course is to approach these advanced mechanics topics from a material perspective. Cross-list: MECH 400, CEVE 500, MECH 500. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for CEVE 400 if student has credit for CEVE 500.
