Description: A comprehensive introduction to the origin, composition and structure of the Earth, including the formation of rocks and minerals, plate tectonics, mountain building, volcanoes, earthquakes, as well surface processes due to glaciers, landslides, oceans and rivers, and much more. Topics also include the origins of natural resources and geologic hazards, and their societal importance. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for EEPS 101 if student has credit for ENST 101/ESCI 115/ESCI 301.
