Description: Basics of wireline logging and logging while drilling including borehole environment, resistivity, radiation, thermal, and elastic wave measurements and measuring tools. Building from this introduction, basic interpretation of logging data and formation evaluation will be studied. Cross-list: EEPS 659. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for EEPS 459 if student has credit for EEPS 659.
