Description: The course covers concepts in incompressible airfoil theory, including symmetric and cambered airfoils, using a combination of analytical and numerical approaches. The course also covers incompressible wing theory, including downwash, lifting-line theory, elliptic wings, wings with twist, and the application of fundamentals to the design of finite wings. Finally, a cursory description of propulsive systems, propellers, and selected topics in aircraft performance and design is provided.
