Description: This course prepares a student for research in the statistical sciences. Topics may change each semester depending on instructor interest. Current topics include bioinformatics, computational finance, data science, Bayesian methods, mathematical tools for statistics, simulation, optimization, and dependent data, high-dimensional problems, and complex problems. Additional topics may be introduced. Contact the instructor for more information. Graduate/Undergraduate Equivalency: STAT 699. Repeatable for Credit.
