Description: Fundamentals of manufacturing processes and systems. Topics include basic factory dynamics, benchmarking, design and control of single-stage production systems, queueuing network approximations for multi-stage production systems, analysis of flow lines and job shops, push & pull systems, impact of variability in manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing. Instructor Permission Required. Recommended Prerequisite(s): CMOR 350
