Description: This FWIS will take Montaigne’s essays—in translation—as our primary text. We’ll get acquainted with Montaigne's mind, his methods, and the insights his work offers about life and learning. In the process, we'll strengthen our own critical thinking skills and our own abilities as writers, readers, and thinkers.
