Description: Introduction to the evaluation of alternative investment opportunities with emphasis on engineering projects and capital infrastructure. Time value of money concepts are developed in the context of detailed project evaluation and presentations. In addition, concepts and applications of risk analysis and investment under uncertainty are developed. Requires oral and written presentations by students. Grad students will have an additional case study to perform beyond CEVE 322 requirements. Cross-list: ENGI 528, Graduate/Undergraduate Equivalency: CEVE 322. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for CEVE 528 if student has credit for CEVE 322/RCEL 505.
