Description: Introduction to numerical methods with applications in Earth Science using Matlab and COMSOL. Much of the class is spent in the computer lab learning Matlab and COMSOL, followed by hands-on exercises. Graduate/Undergraduate Equivalency: EEPS 672. Recommended Prerequisite(s): MATH 211. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for EEPS 472 if student has credit for EEPS 672.
