Description: An introductory survey of sensation and perception. Emphasis on demonstrations of perceptual phenomena, theories of visual perception (cognitive and ecological), and real-world applications. Topics include the philosophy of perception; motion, depth, and color; illusions; perceptual organization; measurement and methods; and perceptual development.
