Description: This course will provide students with an understanding of how energy projects are evaluated. Topics include resource-size determination, geologic and economic risk, discounted cash-flow economics, and other common methods used in decision making. Emphasis will be placed on working in teams to understand basic concepts and sensitivities. Graduate/Undergraduate Equivalency: EEPS 684. Recommended Prerequisite(s): (EEPS 321 or ESCI 321) and (EEPS 323 or ESCI 323). Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for EEPS 484 if student has credit for EEPS 684.
