Description: The intersection of anthropology and aesthetics is making a significant contribution
to the discipline. From the modern to the post-modern to the contemporary work of
visual anthropology we will examine what it means to take up a philosophy of aesthetics,
and consider how we can integrate this genealogy of thought into contemporary anthropological
projects.
