Description: Second language acquisition seeks to describe the development of a second language. It also attempts to provide an explanatory account of the internal and external factors that guide this process. This course surveys various theoretical approaches to the analysis of second language (L2) acquisition. Recommended Prerequisite(s): SPAN 303 or SPAN 321 or SPAN 322.
