Description: Energy efficiency has become critically important for modern computing systems, from battery-powered mobile devices to wall-powered high-performance servers. The course presents the fundamentals of energy characteristics of modern systems, and introduces basic energy-saving mechanisms and methodologies for system energy characterization.
