Description: Introduction to dynamics of offshore and marine systems, structures, drill strings, marine risers, fluid forces, hydrodynamic forces, wind and earthquake forces. MATLAB programming and use of computer software. Demonstrations and laboratory examples. Graduate/Undergraduate Equivalency: CEVE 596. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for CEVE 496 if student has credit for CEVE 596.
