Description: From exorcism to other worldly visions, we experience religion as embodied human beings. This course explores embodied religion by focusing on connections between pain and transcendence, looking at medieval Christianity as well as contemporary and cross-cultural examples. Cross-list: MDEM 305, Graduate/Undergraduate Equivalency: RELI 566. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for RELI 305 if student has credit for RELI 566.
