Description: A study of the somatic and autonomic nervous system control of biological systems. Simulation methods, as well as, techniques common to linear and nonlinear control theory are used. Also included is an introduction to sensors and instrumentation techniques. Examples are taken from the cardiovascular, respiratory, and visual systems. Additional coursework required beyond the undergraduate course requirements. Cross-list: BIOE 582, Graduate/Undergraduate Equivalency: ELEC 482.
