Description: Scientific programming using high level languages, including C, Fortran, and C++. Emphasis on use of numerical libraries. Basic techniques of project planning, source management, documentation, program construction, i/o, visualization. Object-oriented design for numerical computing. Credit may not be received for both CAAM 420 and CAAM 519. Recommended Prerequisite(s): (CAAM 210 and CAAM 335) or CAAM 453. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for CAAM 519 if student has credit for CAAM 419.
