Description: Study of the chemical and physical processes that govern the formation, transformation, and transport of gases and particles in the atmosphere. Overview of urban and regional air pollution, including tropospheric ozone formation and particulate matter; stratospheric chemistry; and global climate change. Extra work required for graduate students. Instructor Permission Required.Graduate/Undergraduate Equivalency: CEVE 411. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for CEVE 511 if student has credit for CEVE 411.
