Description: Continuation of CHIN 311. More emphasis on reading narratives, comprehending authentic oral texts, and speaking in more formal contexts. Writing assignments stress skills necessary for expressing arguments on socio-cultural topics. At the completion of CHIN 312, students will be able to write approximately 1000 Chinese characters. Recommended prerequisite(s): Ability to write approximately 700 characters assumed. Results of Placement Test Recommended or CHIN 311 or Permission of Instructor. Repeatable for Credit.
