Description: Continuation of CHIN 302. Intermediate-high course designed to help students improve aural comprehension and oral competence by the use of audio, video, and internet materials with less emphasis on reading and writing. Focuses on modern standard Chinese in socio-cultural context and aims to help students become familiar with important Chinese topics and develop the aural/oral abilities to perform communicative tasks through classroom activities and laboratory assignments. Recommended Prerequisite(s): Results of Placement Test or CHIN 302 or Permission of Instructor.
