Description: Fundamental topics in performance analysis of computer systems, workload, characterization, measurement techniques, probability&statistics, experimental design, simulation, and analytical modeling. These techniques will be used to understand the performance of computer systems, serial & parallel programs, networks and client-server computing. Assignments will focus on applying these techniques in practice.
