Description: This freshman seminar is an exploration of the genre of Autobiography, from St. Augustine to the present, and serves as an introduction to critical issues of narrative and how it is deployed within different autobiographical texts. Emphasis on writing clear prose and development of literary analytical skills is also a primary component of this course. Open to first year students only, any and all others will be removed.
