Description: Introduction to dynamics of offshore and marine systems, structures, drill strings, marine risers, fluid forces, hydrodynamic forces, wind and earthquake forces. MATLAB programming and use of computer software. Students in CEVE 596 (GR version) will be required to do more advanced assignments and a project. Graduate/Undergraduate Equivalency: CEVE 496. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for CEVE 596 if student has credit for CEVE 496.
