Description: Develops the basic concepts of corporate financial management and introduces a set of analytical tools to evaluate financial decisions. Employs concepts of time value of money, risk and return, and market efficiency to examine how capital market investors value risky assets. Develops a framework for evaluation of corporate investment and financing decisions. Space is limited. Registration does not guarantee a space in class. The Jones School will conduct a lottery for over-enrolled classes to create the course roster for the semester. The Jones School will communicate the results within a week after the close of the registration period. BUSI 343 and ECON 343 are Mutually Exclusive; therefore students may not receive credit for both courses. Graduating Seniors are encouraged to register. If full please see instructor for Special Registration Form. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for BUSI 343 if student has credit for ECON 343. Repeatable for Credit.
