Description: This course will give a comprehensive experience of prints and printmaking through close visual study of original works and the remarkable opportunity to produce printed works of art. In the studio, course participants will experiment with the methods and materials that they have seen in the artists' works, producing their own etchings, lithographs, linocuts, and monoprints. This course has limited enrollment. The roster is formatted on the first day class by the instructor, who may allow additional registration for majors and underclassmen. It is necessary to attend the first class meeting to confirm your place on the class roster. Enrollment may be contingent on portfolio review.
