Description: Painting, sculpture, architecture, and the decorative arts for the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Highlights will include landscapes of the Hudson River School; Greek and Gothic Revival architecture; Shaker design; and the work of Frank Lloyd Wright. Frequent trips to the museums and architectural treasures of Houston and Galveston. Graduate/Undergraduate Equivalency: HART 540. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for HART 335 if student has credit for HART 540.
