Long Title: MORAL ACTION IN THE FACE OF UNCERTAINTY: THE ETHICS OF EVERYDAY LIFE (LOVETT)
Department: College Courses
Grade Mode: Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory
Course Type: Seminar
Credit Hours: 1
Description: Life is full of decisions with an overwhelming amount of theories dictating what decisions are right and wrong. Proposals for how we should live our lives, what ethical or religious code we should abide by, and whether those rules can guide human action have served as the foundation of philosophical discussion. This course will explore different theories of living by dissecting articles from modern moral philosophy, as well as more historical accounts.
