Description: Cellular and molecular basis of innate and adaptive immune function in mammals. Students will be required to do all the usual assignments associated with the undergraduate section of the course but in addition will write a substantial paper on some aspects of the field that is relevant to their planned careers in biomedical research/biotechnology. Cross-list: BIOC 372. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for BIOC 573 if student has credit for BIOC 372/BIOS 372.
