Topics include: food policy; commodification of food; food security and hunger; food, health and the body; cultural food practices; and alternative food systems. Graduate/Undergraduate Equivalency: SOCI 523. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for SOCI 423 if student has credit for SOCI 523.
