ELEC 342 - ANALOG ELECTRONIC CIRCUITS I

Long Title: ANALOG ELECTRONIC CIRCUITS I
Department: Electrical & Computer Eng.
Grade Mode: Standard Letter
Course Type: Lecture/Laboratory
Credit Hours: 4
Prerequisite(s): ELEC 242 OR ELEC 243
Description: The course starts with a review of CMOS and bipolar transistors, followed by large-signal and small-signal analysis of single-stage and multi-stage amplifiers. Differential amplifiers, current source, and current mirrors are introduced next. Techniques for supply and temperature independent biasing are introduced. Finally the effect of noise and feedback in low-frequency circuits will be studied.
