Description: An introduction to the basic methods of description, recording, and interpretation of geologic features in the field, including rock and outcrop description, geologic mapping and cross-section construction. The course includes one or two required field trips during Saturdays, as well as a required seven day excursion help either during Spring Break or during the semester. Taught every Spring Recommended prerequisite(s): ESCI 322 and 323.
