Description: This course is designed to introduce first-year students from a variety of academic backgrounds to the major literary genres of fiction, poetry, drama and creative non-fiction. Students will learn and practice the skills of close reading, interpretation, and literary analysis through discussion and critical writing about literature and language. This course is limited to first-year students only, any others will be removed from this course.
