Topic Spring 2011: Exploration of the ongoing history of how Europeans and Americans interpreted Nazism during the "Third Reich" and since 1945. Examination of works of scholarship, in English and translation, from decades of debate over understanding the nature of Nazism and their implications for theorizing the past and for public history. Repeatable for Credit.
