Description: This course is open to all disciplines. It explores cross-disciplinary approaches to art and the senses. Contrasts artistic and anthropological knowledge to explore alternative aesthetics and ways of engaging with the world. Sessions include film screenings, gallery visits and guest speakers. Participants will produce journal or sketchbook entries, as well as creative projects. No prerequisites required. Graduate version: ANTH 529. Graduate/Undergraduate Equivalency: ANTH 529. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for ANTH 329 if student has credit for ANTH 529.
