Description: This course focuses on anthropology of the life sciences. We will examine how this work takes contemporary bioscience as a site for cultural analysis, and also the allied proposals that this represents an opportunity to renovate classic anthropological analyses and categories of kinship, reproduction, the body, life, death and identity. Graduate/Undergraduate Equivalency: ANTH 440. Repeatable for Credit.
