Description: Introduction to dynamics of offshore and marine systems, structures, drillstrings, marine risers, fluid forces, hydrodynamic forces, wind and earthquake forces. MATLAB programming and use of computer software. Students in CEVE 596 (GR version) will be required to do more advanced assignments and a project. UG/GR Equivalent: CEVE 496.
