Description: Economics 120 is a course primarily for students who do not plan to major in economics, but are interested in learning some fundamental economic concepts and applying these concepts to some contemporary problems such as trade policy, health economics, poverty and welfare, race and discrimination. Economics 120 is not a substitute for Economics 211, but is open to economics majors who are interested in policy but does not count toward an economics major.
